This is by far the best test if you want to know if someone has been using drugs; unfortunately this can be very intrusive to someone because we do cut their hair all the way down to the roots so that the lab can extensively see what drugs they've been using and how long ago or how recent they used them. Hair testing can determine drugs in the hair going 90 days back. I have used these types of tests for employers as well as family custody cases.
