🚨 Upcoming CVSA Operation Safe Driver Week

• When: July 13–19, 2025

• Where: Across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico

  
  

🎯 Objective

• Crack down on reckless, careless, or dangerous driving by both commercial and passenger vehicle drivers

  
  

🛑 Targeted Behaviors

✅ Speeding

✅ Distracted driving

✅ Following too closely

✅ Impaired driving

✅ Reckless or aggressive driving

📈 Why It Matters

• Aims to reduce deaths and injuries from truck and bus crashes

• Focuses on drivers showing aggressive or negligent behaviors

  
  

🔧 New Enforcement Tool

• As of June 25, 2025, enforcement of English-language proficiency became an out‑of‑service violation, adding a new dimension to roadside inspections

  
  

🚔 Commercial drivers WILL be stopped and cited! 

📊 2024’s Impact

• Over 11,000 traffic stops in U.S. & Canada

• Issued 2,439 warnings and 1,583 citations to commercial drivers
